What is a Timeless Tribute?

A Timeless Tribute is a place online where family and friends can remember and celebrate the life of someone special. You can share memories, stories, photos and videos, and even light a virtual candle. When someone you love has died it leaves a hole in your life.  As time goes on you realise that your loved one’s life may have ended but your love and memories will live on in your heart forever.

Why set up a Timeless Tribute?
We know that every loss is very personal and everyone finds their own way to cope with their experience. Often, people find comfort through doing something meaningful that honours the memory of the person they have lost and create a lasting tribute to them. This is what a Timeless Tribute is all about.

 Benefits of an online tribute

  • It’s a personalised place where you, your family and friends can add photos, videos and stories creating and sharing a wonderful online memory box of time spent with your loved one
  • It can help family and friends to keep in touch, supporting one another through the grieving process
  • Use your page to share information about the funeral, anniversaries or any other important occasions with your family and friends
  • It is user friendly and easily accessible on a PC, tablet or mobile phone so you can upload content wherever you are
  • There is no cost to you and it will be yours to use for as long as you want. It can remain online permanently or for a specific period of time, allowing the memories of your loved one to live on for future generations
  • You can set your own privacy settings, giving you full control of who sees your content
  • You may see a previously unseen photo of your loved one or hear a story you knew nothing about.

How do I set up a Timeless Tribute?

Setting up a tribute page is free, easy and can be done in just a few short minutes and with very little computer knowledge.

There are lots of ways you can edit your page to make it special and personalised.  You can change the colours, themes and edit the text descriptions. The Timeless Tribute is designed to be right for you and it’s entirely up to you how many of the features you decide to use.

Creating a Timeless Tribute is a positive way for you to honour the memory of your loved one.  Whilst there is no expectation that you will fundraise, if you do choose to you will be ensuring your loved ones impact on the world is never forgotten.  By raising vital funds for Greenwich & Bexley Community hospice you will make an amazing difference to the support and care that we provide to the terminally ill people and their families in our community. We believe everyone has the right to live and die pain free and with choice and dignity.

About Us

We are Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice (GBCH). We’re a local charity committed to providing high-quality palliative care and support to all of our local people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, as well as their families and their professional carers too.

We are proud to lead the way in providing specialist palliative and end of life care, support and education in Greenwich and Bexley. We have worked hard to make sure that wherever they are, when we are need, people can access our services in their home, the QE Hospital (Woolwich), our inpatient unit and outpatient services (Abbey Wood), and in the care homes and prisons in our community.

We rely on the generosity of our supporters to raise the vital funds needed every year to continue to deliver our work. There are many ways to support us; through our charity shops, fundraising and donations.
